BackWerk in Dusseldorf

Catastrophic conditions We were in this branch a few days ago and found that there was no disinfectant at the entrance or at the packaging station. When I asked about disinfectants, the cashier (see photo) gave me a snotty "No". What is done there is more than dangerous, violates hygiene regulations and contributes extremely to chains of infection by constantly touching the used bun tongs. A case for the regulatory office !!! Our purchased goods ended up in the trash, pure disgust.

Today a regular customer was informed that he could only sit inside for ten minutes to drink his coffee! But after he didn't riot, the police were called by the unfriendly employees. The regular customer was asked out by the police. The boss of the shop hasn't even come over to clarify it! This is how regular customers are valued. The boss should watch some employees more closely. Despite the hopeful lack of hygiene (everything is wiped with a rag, tables, chairs, coffee machines area ......) we still have our coffee every day and then something! The friendliness of the staff this week in the morning was also very bad! Maybe you should do a training course on how to serve customers.

The baked goods taste great. It's a shame that it is closed on Sundays, otherwise I would certainly come by for breakfast more often. In my opinion, the goods are consistently of higher quality than in the nearby back factory. Keep it up ...!!

Not so often choice and not everything fresh anymore.

n thirst quencher for 1.40 € that is simply outrageous! then i had to wait for the cashier because he was not there. and if it wasn't bad enough, the thirst quencher didn't even have a straw that I had to open the one with my airpods and couldn't drink properly. if it would go 0 stars!

A BackWerk as you know it if you've already been to one. But the staff was really very bored with their job and therefore not everything was clean and dreamy. Too bad for a branch in the city center.

Take a quick break for bread rolls or sandwiches, also open sandwiches Price-performance ratio is okay

Unfortunately made a lot of experience today. At 10.30 there were no more normal rolls. After asking, there was the answer, we don't have it today. When asked whether you can sit outside, there was no today. That doesn't seem to feel like it or isn't suitable. Today on August 15th a homeless man sat down on the terrace, the staff was informed about it. Didn't mind, but sat down with friends and chatted with them for almost an hour.

Quality is good, good advice and support

ATTENTION! I saw how today's seller simply cleared the coffee mugs after they had been touched many times by a guest ... I am appalled by the hygiene conditions being followed here at this time.

Apart from the fact that baked goods are no longer as cheap as they used to be and you soon pay as much for coffee & Co. as in a café with service etc., it is simply delicious. Large selection, so that there should be something for everyone.

Coffee is worth the price (cheapest in town?) and it’s cool that they give you a 10c discount for bringing your own cup ✌️ (It’s also pretty uncomfortable inside but the prices correspond to the quality)

A small branch of Backwerk and still enough possibilities to sit inside as well as outside. As usual, there are cold and hot drinks and a wide selection of food from hearty to sweet. Staff is friendly and constantly on cleanliness endeavors.

Our favourite place to lunch! Friendly and helpful staff. We always take something extra to eat later. Love the pretzel bread!
